As an associate in Manion Gaynor & Manning LLP’s Miami office, Cory D. Lapin practices high-exposure complex litigation. He has significant experience in areas such as medical malpractice, products liability, mass torts, and catastrophic injury litigation.
Prior to joining MG+M, Cory pursued complex catastrophic injury and commercial actions on behalf of plaintiffs, some independently, leading to multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. He also assisted plaintiffs’ national lead trial counsel with the multi-district litigation against leading airbag manufacturer, Takata, and against multinational automotive manufacturers. Cory’s extensive experience litigating on behalf of injured plaintiffs offers a unique perspective and value to the firm.
Cory D. Lapin received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in 2014, graduating summa cum laude. In addition to graduating at the top of his law school class, he made the Dean’s List every semester, received both the Einstein Scholarship and Law Center Merit Scholarship, earned numerous Book Awards, and served as a junior associate for the Nova Law Review and the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. Cory earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Florida in 2011.
