Overview

Samantha Lopez represents clients in asbestos litigation and environmental litigation. Prior to joining MG+M, she worked as a criminal defense attorney in the Orleans Parish juvenile division.

Samantha graduated from Southern University Law Center, where she was a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow. She also served as a member of The Black Law Student Organization and worked as a teaching assistant for Louisiana Property Law. While in law school, Samantha was chosen to participate in the 2021 ABA Judicial Clerkship Program. Samantha has a passion for mentorship, pro bono work, and diversity and inclusion.

Samantha lives in New Orleans, Louisiana, with her partner, Rhonda, and their daughter. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and painting.
