As a native born San Franciscan and active member of the University of California Community Outreach Educational Services Program, Carlos’ experience observing the value of diversity and inclusiveness has been first hand. His work with community educational outreach has strengthened his appreciation for the successes of approaching solutions from a variety of perspectives, and seeking the buy-in from those whose voice may not always be heard.
