Overview

Emma Nunn focuses her practice on toxic tort, maritime litigation, products liability, general liability and first party practice. Prior to joining MG+M, Emma worked as an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County, where she tried numerous misdemeanor, juvenile and felony cases. 

During law school, Emma was a note and comment editor on the North Carolina Journal of International Law, an alternate on the UNC Holderness Moot Court International Law Moot Court Team, a member of the Carolina Law Public Interest Organization Board and a Women in Law mentor. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Frank D. Whitney and a legal intern at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office. She completed externships with The University of North Carolina (UNC) Office of University Counsel and the North Carolina Office of the Solicitor General.  
 
While at UNC, Emma was a member of the varsity swimming and diving team, where she was an all-American honorable mention her junior and senior year and competed for the United States in the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju, South Korea. In her spare time, she enjoys running, spending time with her dog and cheering for the UNC Tar Heels.
