Overview

Ingrid Golemi is an Associate with the firm’s New York office and focuses her practice on complex civil matters, including asbestos litigation. Prior to joining MG+M, Ingrid worked as an associate for a boutique litigation firm, specializing in civil and commercial litigation, representing individuals and companies of all sizes in a wide variety of contract and business disputes. Ingrid concentrates in litigation and is experienced in all phases of civil and commercial litigation, from drafting initial pleadings and managing pre-trial fact and expert discovery, through mediation and trial.

As a commercial litigation attorney, Ingrid has extensive experience reviewing and advising business clients on the terms and impact of various legal documents. Throughout the course of her practice, Ingrid has seen and dealt with the consequences of poorly drafted agreements, ineffective policies and other legal and ethical risks. Her experience as a litigator gives her a unique perspective on business issues. Having seen firsthand what can go wrong enables her to help her clients better anticipate, prepare for and prevent problems in the future.

Ingrid obtained her J.D. from the University of Shkodra School of Law in her home country of Albania, where she graduated with honors. Soon after graduating, Ingrid was given an opportunity and served as an Assistant Professor of criminal law and criminal procedure at the same University, before coming to the USA.

In the USA, Ingrid obtained a Master of Laws degree in contracts from Touro Law Center in New York.

Ingrid speaks fluent Albanian and Italian. In her free time, Ingrid likes to run, play tennis and spend time with her friends and family.
