A partner in MG+M’s Irvine, California office, Karen is a skilled trial attorney whose practice focuses on asbestos litigation, environmental litigation, and toxic torts. She has extensive experience litigating claims related to alleged chemical exposures, as well as exposure to toxins and other forms of hazardous waste. Throughout her 18 years of practice in these areas, Karen has developed an invaluable and commanding knowledge of various state and federal environmental regulations. Karen has served as a trial attorney on a number of cases for a variety of clients in multiple jurisdictions, and her presence in the court room has been instrumental in reaching favorable resolutions before verdict. Additionally, she boasts a stellar trial record, having won an impressive five defense verdicts.
Karen received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, after obtaining a Master of Arts from Mount Saint Mary’s University. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California. Karen is admitted to practice in the state of California and the United States District Court of Eastern and Central Districts of California.
In addition to her litigation and arbitration experience, Karen taught high school for nine years.
