Kime Smith is a Bay Area litigator with more than a decade of experience defending construction entities, product manufacturers and construction material suppliers. Kime’s legal experience includes the areas of complex toxic torts, personal injury, and construction litigation. Kime has extensive law and motion experience, and is passionate about creating strategic and proactive approaches to claim resolution. Prior to joining MG+M, Kime was a senior associate responsible for the management of a number of high profile construction litigation cases which received international media coverage and a wrongful death case which received national coverage. Kime enjoys involvement in all phases of litigation for his clients, including discovery and depositions, dispositive and pre-trial motions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
Kime is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in English and attended law school at Syracuse University College of Law. During the summer of 2002, Kime studied Chinese intellectual property law at the prestigious Tsinghai University in Beijing, China. Kime returned to California after completing his legal studies in New York and is an avid Golden State Warriors fan.
