Matthew Braquet is an associate in MG+M’s New Orleans office, where his practice focuses primarily on asbestos litigation, products liability, and toxic tort liability. Prior to joining MG+M, Matthew worked as an associate at a Baton Rouge based law firm, specializing in health law.
Matthew earned his J.D. from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. During law school, Matthew served as Production Editor on Volume 7 of the Journal of Energy Law and Resources and earned a CALI Award in Antitrust. Matthew also participated in the ABA Legal Negation Competition placing in the top 20 from over 200 competitors. Additionally, Matthew served as a legal extern for Magistrate Judge Erin Wilder-Doomes at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Matthew received his B.A. in International Studies from Louisiana State University.
