René M. Pickett is an associate in MG+M’s Boston office, and a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on the defense of a variety of complex litigation matters, including products and premises liability. Prior to joining the MG+M team, René was a litigation attorney at a regional law firm where she handled all aspects of litigation case management in a variety of complex matters, ranging from contract disputes to personal injury, premises liability, employment claims, and dram shop matters. She also served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Silverstein of the Rhode Island Superior Court Business Calendar.
René earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School where she was a student mentor for the National Women’s Law Student Association, as well as a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court and National Health Law Moot Court teams. She received her B.A., cum laude, in political science and Spanish from Providence College.
Outside of the office, René is actively involved with the Great Dane Rescue of New England to raise funds for foster dogs in need and awareness for animal cruelty. She currently resides in Southeastern Massachusetts with her husband, son, daughter, and two Great Danes.
She has been named to Super Lawyers - Rising Stars since 2014.
