Overview

Ryan Murphy litigates matters on behalf of clients ranging from individuals to small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Ryan dedicates his practice to defending his clients in a broad spectrum of legal disputes, including product liability, environmental & toxic torts, transportation litigation, premises liability, employment conflicts, insurance coverage disputes, will contests, landlord/tenant conflicts, and breach of business contracts.

Ryan takes pride in managing every facet of a complicated case. He takes a proactive approach emphasizing pre-suit investigation and early litigation analysis in order to effectuate the best strategic approach for each particular client and the unique circumstances of a dispute. He is well-versed in conducting fact and expert discovery, drafting and arguing successful case-dispositive motions, and representing clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences and trial in both state and federal courts. Ryan’s number one priority is and will always be obtaining the best result for his client.

Prior to joining MG+M, Ryan served as a legal intern to the Honorable Paul C. Dawley, Chief Justice of the Massachusetts District Court, and to the Honorable David E. Peebles, Magistrate to the US District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Ryan is a graduate of Hamilton College, (B.A.) and Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., cum laude) where he was an executive editor of the Syracuse Law Review.

Ryan has received professional accolades including being recognized as One to Watch in Civil Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America and has been consistently selected by Massachusetts Super Lawyers as a Rising Star (awarded each year to only 2.5% of attorneys in Massachusetts).

Ryan resides in Westwood with his wife and their two children.
