Tim P. Tryniecki is an experienced litigator in the defense of personal injury matters, with particular emphases on products liability, toxic tort, and mass tort claims.
He has represented local, national, and multinational clients ranging from family businesses to Fortune 500 companies in some of the nation’s most challenging jurisdictions, in particular the state and federal courts of Illinois and Missouri. His experience includes representing manufacturers and suppliers of industrial equipment and machinery, including manufacturers in the aerospace, automotive, chemical, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and farming sectors, as well as school districts, restaurant chains, and premises owners. His breadth of knowledge and experience assist him in formulating cost effective and client specific defense strategies at all levels and stages of litigation.
Tim is comfortable both inside and outside the courtroom, having taken numerous fact and expert witness depositions across the country, while overseeing client accounts and dockets spanning hundreds of cases at a time. He has successfully resolved numerous cases through settlement and mediation, and been part of a trial team that obtained a defense verdict in New York for a national client. Locally, Tim has appeared regularly in the circuit courts of St. Louis, Missouri and Madison County, Illinois, successfully arguing motions and other discovery and pre-trial matters on behalf of his clients.
Tim is licensed in the states of Illinois and Missouri, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Illinois, and the Eastern District of Missouri, and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He is active in the community as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters, and sits on the Young Professionals Board of the St. Louis Crisis Nursery. He has also performed significant pro bono work in the areas of family and immigration law. Tim resides in St. Louis with his wife and son.
