Overview

Daniel McCarthy is a partner and an experienced litigator and trial counsel whose practice focuses on all aspects of civil litigation, toxic torts, professional liability, products liability, food liability, and pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. He serves on the National Coordinating Counsel teams for international product manufacturers. Dan also serves as local and regional counsel defending products liability and toxic tort claims on behalf of manufacturers of boilers, building products, fluid sealing devices, wire and cable, friction components, aircraft, and mechanical equipment. 

In addition, Dan assists with the nationwide defense of one of the largest food and quality-of-life service providers in the world. Dan also serves as defense and monitoring counsel for pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer and their insurers in thousands of cases consolidated by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.  

Prior to joining MG+M, Dan served as a judicial law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court. Dan is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, (B.A.) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., cum laude) where he was an editor of the Suffolk University Law Review.

Dan resides in Walpole with his wife and three sons, where he is a volunteer in youth athletics.
