MG+M Elevates Five Attorneys to Partner in 2024

MG+M The Law Firm is pleased to announce that we have elevated five attorneys to partner, effective January 1, 2024:

Irina N. Luzhatsky’s practice focuses on civil litigation product liability, toxic tort defense, complex commercial litigation and premises liability. She has defended clients in claims based on negligence, breach of warranty, wrongful death and various related claims. As part of her defense work, Irina has successfully briefed and argued numerous substantive motions on behalf of her clients in Delaware courts. She is part of the discovery team for national clients and has experience bringing and defending discovery-related motions. Best Lawyers in America has recognized Irina on its “Ones to Watch” list for her work in product liability litigation defense. She earned her JD from Delaware Law School and a BA from Wilmington University. 

Kelley T. Mahoney has represented a broad range of clients in general liability, products liability, toxic tort and premises liability cases in state and federal court, including manufacturers, distributors, contractors, property owners and various businesses. She has extensive trial experience in multimillion-dollar actions and has tried cases to verdict as second-chair co-counsel.  Kelley also has experience in corporate and business law matters, having advised various business entities on choice of entity issues, formation, dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and corporate governance. Kelley was recently recognized by Thomson Reuters as a Rising Star. She earned her JD from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Sean C. McGah dedicates his practice to multiple-party complex litigation, with a primary focus on asbestos and talc litigation. He has extensive experience defending property owners, contractors, products manufacturers and products suppliers. Sean is a successful litigator, who is adept at handling cases from initial discovery through trial. He has achieved favorable results for his clients through summary judgment motions, appellate work and negotiations for numerous dismissals. Sean has participated as second-chair trial attorney for several clients in asbestos cases. Prior to becoming a civil litigator, he first-chaired several criminal cases to verdict as a prosecutor. Sean earned his JD from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a BA from the University of San Diego. 

Dane W. Schrader began his legal career defending architects and engineers in professional liability and construction defect litigation and defending attorneys in legal malpractice actions. Presently, Dane dedicates his practice to general, premises and products liability matters, along with construction defect and employment matters for small business owners to Fortune 500 companies. His practice ranges from single-party litigation matters to catastrophic wrongful death claims and multiple-party litigation. Dane has experience in both state and federal court and through all phases of litigation and trial, and has successfully advocated for his clients through dispositive motions and favorable settlements. In 2022, Dane was admitted pro hac vice in the Northern District of Florida and successfully defended a multinational industrial machinery manufacturing conglomerate in federal, multidistrict product liability litigation. He earned his JD, magna cum laude, from Southwestern Law School and has a BA in political science from the University of Arizona. Dane is fluent in English and Spanish and studied at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Viña del Mar, Chile, while pursuing his minor in Spanish. 

Stephanie M. Selman focuses her practice on civil defense, managing a diverse caseload that encompasses first- and third-party property defense, insurance coverage disputes, products liability, asbestos litigation, general liability defense litigation and aviation law. Her experience includes integral roles within trial teams, particularly in high-stakes, multimillion-dollar actions. She defends companies of all sizes—from family-run businesses to international Fortune 100 companies and their insurers—in products liability cases and civil litigation. Best Lawyers in America has recognized Stephanie on its “Ones to Watch” list for her work in personal injury litigation defense and product liability litigation defense. In addition, Stephanie was selected as a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s 2023 class of fellows, a one-year advanced leadership training program. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French. Stephanie obtained her first law degree, magna cum laude, from Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic, where she is also licensed to practice. She also earned her JD and an LLM in US and transnational law for foreign lawyers from the University of Miami School of Law.
