As an associate in MG+M’s Wilmington office, Irina Luzhatsky focuses her practice in premises liability, product liability, and toxic tort matters. She has significant experience in areas such as civil insurance defense, fraud investigation, and automobile negligence cases.
A native of Delaware, Irina worked as a paralegal and a law clerk before joining private practice as an attorney. Her experiences have enabled her to develop relationships with the Delaware judiciary and with other Delaware litigators. Irina has provided local counsel services for prestigious national clients, guiding through substantive and procedural complexities of Delaware law to seamlessly maneuver large dockets of cases within the exclusive Delaware courts. In addition to providing pretrial and trial support, Irina has also briefed and defended summary judgment on myriad product liability issues, helping earn over $2 million in settlements on behalf of injured plaintiffs. Irina is recognized for her thoroughness, compassion, and innovation in providing fresh, practical, and forward-thinking approaches to clients’ unique needs to obtain the best possible results.
Irina earned her Juris Doctor in 2012 from Widener University School of Law. While in law school, she served on the editorial board of the Widener Law Review, and was also a judicial intern with the Superior Court of the State of Delaware. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Wilmington University in 2008.
