Overview

Danielle Riera is an Associate based in the New Orleans office. She focuses her practice on asbestos litigation, general liability, premises liability, products liability, and toxic tort liability.

Prior to joining MG+M, Danielle practiced insurance defense representing both insurers and their insureds in torts relating to premises and general liability, restaurant liability, automobile accidents, general negligence, personal injury, and insurance coverage disputes. She also worked as a law clerk at the Louisiana Worker’s Compensation Corporation, was a student advocate at the LSU Law Juvenile Defense Clinic, and was an intern for the Honorable Judge Hunter Greene in the Family Court of East Baton Rouge.

Danielle works closely with senior trial lawyers on local and national work conducting scientific research, analyzing literature, preparing for trial, and coordinating the defense of clients.

Danielle received her J.D. and diploma in comparative law from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center. During law school, she was the Director of Communication for the Women’s Law Association, an academic tutor/teachers assistant for Federal Civil Procedure, and a national tax moot court semifinalist in 2016 and 2017. She received her B.A. in International Studies with a focus in French from Bowling Green State University in 2010.

Danielle is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
