Overview

Elizabeth Kurowski Quante received her undergraduate degree in Leadership and Change Management from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University. She also received her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law (SLULAW) with a concentration in Civil Litigation. She spent a summer studying in Italy at Loyola University’s John Felice Rome Center as an undergraduate.

While in law school Elizabeth was on the executive committee of the Student Bar Association and served as a licensed student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic in both Illinois and Missouri. She was able to achieve favorable results for her clients in the clinic in a variety of cases including winning an unemployment compensation appeal and working with Missouri state leaders to modify the Code of State Regulations. The Clinic was also a part of the Clemency Coalition in which Elizabeth was able to visit clients who were incarcerated and ultimately one client was granted clemency. She was also a David Grant Clinic Student Award nominee at SLULAW.

In law school Elizabeth spent one summer working for MG+M in Boston in its commercial litigation practice. She also spent a summer as a judicial intern for the Honorable Nancy Rosenstengel in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois while simultaneously working as a faculty fellow at Saint Louis University School of Law. Through this faculty fellowship, Elizabeth was part of the creation of the Introduction to Legal Studies class and ultimately served as a teaching assistant for this class.

Elizabeth has a passion for philanthropy. She sits on the board of Rainbows for Kids and was recently selected to join the board for the Saint Louis Chapter of JDRF (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). She also serves as the advocacy team chair for the Saint Louis Chapter of JDRF and regularly visits with congresspeople in Washington DC and locally to push for research funding and healthcare access for people living with type 1 diabetes. Elizabeth is also a part of the JDRF Professional Advisors Network and provides pro bono services to the organization and individuals in need.

Elizabeth is focusing her work in all areas of the firm’s litigation practice. She resides in Saint Louis, Missouri with her husband, Jordan, and their two mini goldendoodles.
