MG+M Partner Ken Costa Named to Amos House Board

November 16, 2017
Overview

Partner Ken Costa has been named to the Board of Directors at Amos House, a nonprofit social services agency that provides hospitality and direct services to the homeless and poor of Rhode Island, including daily meals, recovery-based shelter, permanent supportive housing, vocational and literacy training, and jobs. Through these services, Amos House helps formerly homeless people find success, establish stable households, belong to a community, and most of all believe in themselves and their future, free from previous challenges.

Ken began volunteering at Amos House when he was a student at LaSalle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island, serving meals to those in need out of the largest soup kitchen in the state. Now, as a member of the board, Ken is committed to bringing awareness to Amos House; furthering its goal of giving those in need the tools to help themselves out of homelessness and poverty.

"It's an opportunity and even greater personal responsibility to help others in the community,” says Ken about why he finds it important to volunteer and support the initiatives of Amos House. "It is an honor to serve Amos House and the people of Rhode Island - where I have lived all my life," Ken notes.

Ken’s involvement with Amos House is the newest addition to the many local, regional, and national organizations MG+M attorneys and staff support throughout the country.
