Overview

MG+M The Law Firm Partner Bill Larson will conduct a municipal clerk training session on Government Ethics: The Importance of Public Trust. The presentation will cover current ethics rules for local government officials; the option for local governments to opt out of the state system and establish their own ethics ordinances; and the importance of having and enforcing strong government ethics policies to preserve the public trust. 

This series of municipal clerks training sessions is hosted annually by the University of Delaware's Institute for Public Administration and enrolls municipal and county staff from throughout the state of Delaware and the surrounding region. Participation in this training over a three-year cycle satisfies the educational requirements for the CMC designation.
