John B. Manning will be the keynote speaker at Advisen's first annual Big Nasty Claims Conference on September 20, at the New York Law School.
The half-day program focuses on the phenomenon of $100M+ big, nasty claims such as the BP oil spill, asbestos litigation, Amtrak train accidents, and football-related concussions. Panels will discuss how companies can better prepare for mass torts and class action situations, addressing claims management best practices, carrier selection, limit adequacy, jurisdiction and other influential factors.
