For the fifth year in a row, MG+M The Law Firm is proud to sponsorBaylor University School of Law’s National Top Gun Mock Trial Competition (Top Gun XVII), taking place May 29–31 in Waco, Texas.
This invitation-only competition brings together top advocates from 16 leading trial advocacy programs across the country. With its distinctive format—featuring one student representative per school and case materials released just 24 hours in advance—Top Gun challenges participants to demonstrate preparation, adaptability, and courtroom skill at the highest level. The winner receives a $10,000 prize, sponsored by MG+M.
MG+M attorneys and staff will be onsite throughout the week of the competition and will host multiple events for coaches, competitors, and Baylor Law students and faculty.
Our continued sponsorship of Top Gun, along with our 19-month national Trial Academy and national law clerk program, reflects MG+M’s commitment to developing the next generation of trial lawyers. Through these programs, we support aspiring attorneys with the training, mentorship, and opportunities needed to succeed in the courtroom.
