For the fourth year in a row, MG+M is the proud sponsor of Baylor University School of Law’s annual National Top Gun Mock Trial Competition (Top Gun XVI) taking place from May 28 to June 1 in Waco, Texas.
This prestigious invitation-only tournament brings together accomplished advocates from 16 top trial advocacy schools across the country. With its distinct format showcasing one student representative from each law school and providing case details just 24 hours before the competition, Top Gun allows individual students to demonstrate their advocacy skills and expertise in a unique and challenging environment. The winner takes home a $10,000 prize, provided by MG+M.
MG+M lawyers and staff will be onsite throughout the event, and we look forward to witnessing the trial advocacy skills of the competing students. The final round will be livestreamed.
Our annual sponsorship of Top Gun, along with our 19-month national Trial Academy training program and national law clerk program, reflects MG+M's commitment to investing in and shaping the next generation of trial lawyers. With these programs, we aim to provide aspiring attorneys with the skills, mentorship and opportunities needed to excel in the courtroom.
