Partner Lucia Pazos Selected as a 2019 Fellow by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD)

February 22, 2019

MG+M Partner Lucia V. Pazos was selected as a member of the 2019 class of Fellows—a landmark program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. During Lucia’s Fellow year, she will embark on a learning program that includes in-person conferences, training in the fine points of legal practice, peer-group projects to foster collaboration and build relationships, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership.

"MG+M congratulates Lucia on this incredible honor and well-deserved opportunity," said Amaryah K. Bocchino, Managing Partner at MG+M. "As a Fellow with the LCLD, she joins a select group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations."

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The LCLD Fellows Program, which has trained more than a 1,600 mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives. Since then, the Fellows Program has grown to include a vigorous Alumni Program, instituting that each class of Fellows serve as mentors to those who follow.

MG+M has been a member organization of the LCLD since 2017. Lucia follows in the footsteps of Partner Javier Flores, the chair of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee, who was a 2017 Fellow, and the firm's Managing Partner, Amaryah Bocchino, who was a 2018 Fellow. MG+M is committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, with the belief that our greatest strength lies in combining our unique backgrounds, life experiences and talents into a multifaceted whole. This commitment to inclusiveness in the firm and within the legal profession in general is undoubtedly intertwined in LCLD's mission as an organization.
