Raúl Chacón is a partner in the MG+M Miami office. He has been a testament to the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Raúl leads the Maritime Litigation practice, and believes that the strongest relationships are built with acceptance of all characteristics and differences in the legal industry.

In addition to serving on the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, Raúl has held executive positions for the Cuban American Bar Association, served on its Board of Directors for more than 10 years, and has been and continues to be an active member of CABA, serving on various committees for the organization. In addition to CABA, he is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and holds leadership positions in other voluntary Bar Organizations, such as the League of Prosecutors, where he has served as President, Vice President and Treasurer. As a member of the Florida Bar, he has chaired and currently serves on the boards of the Admiralty Board Certification and Admiralty Law Committees. He is actively involved in speaking engagements, authoring published works, and teaching at the University of Miami School of Law.
