Overview

Andrew Leal concentrates his practice on general liability cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability and products liability. He represents a broad range of clients in state court, including manufacturers, distributors, contractors, premise owners and various businesses. He is involved in all aspects of litigation, from inception to resolution. He has settled numerous cases through mediation and has successfully defended clients in arbitration and trial.

Prior to joining MG+M, Andrew primarily defended first-party and third-party claims on behalf of automobile insurance carriers and rental car companies. He has handled cases involving suspected fraud/theft, brain injuries, surgical injuries, spinal cord stimulators, urological/reproductive organ injuries and other high exposure claims. He has experience defending insurance carriers’ insureds in cases arising out of accidents involving automobile versus pedestrians, bicyclists and motorcyclists, along with cases asserting punitive damages. In addition, he has extensive experience representing rental car companies and foreign renters in automobile accidents involving rental vehicles. Through his experience, he has developed the knowledge and skill necessary to identify the applicable standards of care and identify the specialized experts needed to assist in the evaluation and defense of cases.
