Overview

Gregory Damico is an accomplished attorney, specializing in asbestos litigation, talc litigation, product liability and general liability defense, with a focus on providing high-quality legal counsel and representation to clients across diverse industries. With more than eight years of experience, Gregory has built a strong reputation for delivering practical solutions in complex legal matters. He has successfully handled a wide range of cases, often working closely with clients to develop strategies that protect their interests and minimize risk. Gregory handles all stages of litigation, from pleadings throughout trial and post-trial motions.

Gregory’s legal practice is uniquely informed by his active work as a firefighter and a Certified Fire Investigator for the city of Bayonne, New Jersey. His hands-on understanding of the operational, legal, and insurance perspectives of fire investigations gives him deep insight into fire-related property damage and subrogation claims. Through Gregory’s certification, he was trained to read fire damage and burn patterns and de-layer debris to determine where a fire started and how it spread. His work as a Certified Fire Investigator includes conducting scene examinations, providing detailed origin and cause reports, interviewing witnesses, and working closely with state and local authorities, insurance companies, and professional arson investigation organizations. Gregory’s investigating work often begins immediately after he is on the scene as a first-responder participating in suppression efforts, giving him a real-time understanding of how fire behaves and how materials react, as well as what materials to preserve for the investigation and how to interpret the physical evidence in context. He applies this insight from his firefighting and investigating work to bring accuracy and depth to every investigation he conducts and every fire subrogation and property damage case he handles.

As a Bayonne native, Gregory’s firefighting work is also a reflection of his deep dedication to and passion for giving back to his community. In law school, Gregory served as a staff editor for the New York Law School Law Review and graduated cum laude.
