Overview

Jason Kramer focuses his practice on design professional liability and complex civil litigation matters. He represents clients in matters involving contractual disputes, business torts, insurance coverage, and personal injury defense.

Before joining MG+M, Jason practiced at several New York law firms, where he handled a broad range of litigation matters. His experience includes disputes involving limited partnerships, derivative actions, breach of contract, and employment-related claims, as well as maritime and transportation-related litigation. He has drafted and argued dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment, and has experience opposing arbitration, conducting depositions, and managing discovery. Jason has also appeared in New York Supreme Court and federal court and has participated in trial preparation and administrative proceedings.

Earlier in his career, Jason litigated construction, insurance, and personal injury matters in state courts, where he conducted depositions, prepared and argued motions, and developed case strategy in high-value disputes. He also gained experience through roles in public interest and clinical settings, where he represented clients in mediation, negotiated settlements, and appeared in court on contested matters.
