Overview

For almost two decades, Michelle Hawes has practiced law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She has a broad range of experience, with demonstrated success in complex construction and contract disputes. Michelle's legal experience spans various areas of civil litigation, and she focuses her practice on construction and design professional matters.

Michelle graduated cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Roger Williams University Law Review and served on the Moot Court Board.

Michelle's interest in litigation and appellate advocacy began with an internship with a justice of the Rhode Island Superior Court and an externship at the Rhode Island Supreme Court.

Michelle is an active member of the community, serving on the board of a nonprofit that supports youth sports.
