Overview

Vikram Bhatia is an associate in MG+M’s New Orleans office, where his practice focuses on defense of asbestos claims. Prior to joining MG+M, Vikram worked as an associate at a local law firm, specializing in defending insurance companies and their insureds in personal injury litigation.

Vikram earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2017. While in law school, Vikram served as an Articles Editor on Volume 41 of the Journal of the Legal Profession. Additionally, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable L. Scott Coogler, a United States District Judge. Vikram received his B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Mathematics from Fordham University.

Experience

  • Secured a defense verdict from a New Orleans–area jury for a national air conditioner manufacturer and a national retailer in a cause and origin fire case.
