MG+M attorneys Jennifer Cormier, Mary Katherine Back, Carrie Lin, and Abby Adams volunteered for Dress for Success (‘DFS’) this month in San Francisco. The group assisted with inventory coordination after a recent clothing drive and also helped three DFS clients get styled with new outfits for upcoming interviews. All activities occurred at the Dress for Success’ Nob Hill boutique.

“Our volunteer day was a great way to kick off the MG+M San Francisco office’s involvement with Dress for Success. We are looking forward to staying involved with this organization in the future,” said Associate Abby Adams.
Amy Lynch, the Program Manager for Dress for Success San Francisco praised the work of MG+M attorneys: “The MG+M team did a fantastic job in our boutique, assisting with our inventory and personal shopping for our job-ready women. Dress for Success San Francisco is a volunteer-driven organization and we rely heavily on our volunteers to fulfill our mission. We simply could not operate without the time and effort of our volunteers and we’re so grateful for the support of MG+M Law!”
The San Francisco office’s work with Dress for Success is in conjunction with the MG+M Women’s Forum and its support of Dress for Success nationally. The San Francisco office’s involvement follows Boston and New Orleans’ DFS clothing drives this summer. Other events will occur through the fall and winter in additional MG+M offices as well.
Jennifer Cormier concludes, “It is easy to get tied up in our own personal everyday stresses – volunteering at organizations like Dress for Success helps put things in perspective. It was a rewarding experience!”
