Overview

Kyler Stevens devotes a large part of his practice to products liability, toxic tort, and mass tort matters. He has represented local, national, and multinational clients in some of the nation’s most difficult jurisdictions in matters ranging from toxic tort cases to personal injury defense. Kyler also defends school districts and other municipal corporations in a wide-range of civil litigation matters. He has extensive experience in defending his clients – large and small – from the initial investigation of a claim through trial and appellate practice.

Kyler has represented manufacturers and suppliers of industrial equipment and components, including gaskets, compressors, HVAC, building materials, electrical equipment, as well as aerospace and automotive equipment. This experience uniquely positions him to represent a variety of equipment and component manufacturers, and to help his clients develop and implement cost-effective, result-driven defense strategies at the national, regional, and local level.

Since he began practicing law, Kyler has been active in local and state bar associations. He previously served on the Illinois State Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division Council and the Committee on Judicial Evaluations (Outside Cook County). He is a past president of the Crawford County Bar Association and is an active member of the Southern Illinois American Inn of Court.

Kyler is licensed in the states of Illinois, California, Missouri, New York and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois. He lives in Fairview Heights, Illinois, with his wife, Miranda, and enjoys golfing and snowboarding in his spare time. Kyler also serves in multiple organizations supporting local youth and scholarship.
