MG+M Welcomes Partner Kelly Martin Malone in Boston
April 4, 2023

Overview

MG+M The Law Firm is pleased to welcome Kelly Martin Malone as a partner in our Boston office. Kelly brings more than 24 years of trial and litigation experience to her practice representing companies and individuals in numerous areas of the law, with a focus on construction law and litigation, professional and general liability, and personal injury matters.

Kelly’s experience trying cases before both judges and juries in state and federal courts throughout New England, as well as successfully resolving claims at arbitration and mediation, gives her a sharp judgment for evaluating cases for settlement and verdict value. A former prosecutor, Kelly’s extensive trial experience also includes convening numerous grand juries and conducting scores of bench and jury trials, giving her an edge over her competition in the courtroom.

For more than a decade, Kelly has served as regional counsel for a Fortune 50 home improvement retailer, where she has defended the client against hundreds of general liability claims and lawsuits throughout New England.

“Kelly has earned an impressive reputation as a smart, tenacious litigator and strategist, and MG+M clients will value her talent and perspective gained from years of courtroom experience,” says MG+M Chairperson and Partner John B. Manning. “Having collaborated with Kelly for years, the firm looks forward to welcoming her to our partnership and further strengthening MG+M’s general liability and construction litigation offerings to our clients.”

Prior to joining MG+M, Kelly was a shareholder at a New England law firm, where she oversaw the firm’s Boston office and chaired its Construction Law Department. She previously served as an assistant district attorney in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and as an assistant state’s attorney in Cook County, Illinois. She received her JD from Catholic University School of Law, and a BA in justice from American University. She is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.
