Overview

Eric Penley is a strong, business-minded trial lawyer and advocate for construction/AEC industry clients and other businesses in pre-litigation, litigation, mediation, and arbitration involving commercial disputes, construction, real estate, and professional liability issues.

Eric drafts, negotiates, and enforces complex written agreements on behalf of contractors, subcontractors, project owners, and design professionals. He also provides strategic legal guidance and representation throughout every phase of a project, including early dispute resolution.

Eric has a proven history of successfully representing clients in matters before arbitrators, Massachusetts Superior Courts, US District Courts, and US Courts of Appeals. 

Prior to joining MG+M, Eric was an attorney at litigation and trial firms in Massachusetts, including at a multinational AmLaw 20 firm. Before attending law school, he worked as a paralegal in the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice.
