Overview

Jodie Ryan concentrates her practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation with emphasis on chemical exposure and toxic tort, products liability, premises liability, construction, and personal injury matters. She also represents clients facing landlord/tenant disputes and commercial collection cases.

Jodie maintains an active pro bono practice and has been named to the Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County’s Pro Bono Honor Roll several times. She has represented low-income residents facing non-criminal legal issues and handled numerous name-change petitions in various counties in New York.

Jodie is also very active with the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys (GRAWA). She recently served on the organization’s board of directors and was the 35th President (2017–2018). Since 2016, Jodie has served on the GRAWA’s Judicial Evaluation Committee (JEC) and worked with the organization to redefine and publish new judicial candidate rating criteria. She has also served on GRAWA’s nominations, mentoring and executive committees.
