Pro Bono

MG+M's broad pro bono practice is rooted in our commitment to helping ensure that justice is accessible to everyone.

Recognizing a strong responsibility to promote and facilitate equal access to justice, MG+M is committed to public service efforts. From obtaining Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for an endangered teenage girl (a non-US citizen) to stay in the United States legally, to favorably settling an estate dispute on behalf of the not-for-profit organization JDRF, the firm provides the highest level of pro bono legal assistance.

Our attorneys, paralegals and other professionals have donated countless hours to pro bono legal services. Through direct representation and partnerships with human rights and legal reform organizations, MG+M supports underserved communities, disadvantaged individuals and nonprofits that may otherwise lack access to legal services.

MG+M actively encourages its attorneys to engage in pro bono matters, facilitated by a national committee dedicated to identifying and supporting prospective initiatives. Partners Mary Back in San Francisco and Kaylin Grey in Miami co-chair the committee, with assistance from Mary Tucker, the firm’s director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion + Belonging in New Orleans.

MG+M welcomes communications regarding pro bono projects or efforts; please contact Mary Tucker at ProBonoCommittee@mgmlaw.com.
